What's In My Shower Caddy?

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I didn't realize it has been this long since I have posted something on here and I am sorry for that. Anyway, I was walking to the showers in my dorm the other day and realized that my trusty shower caddy has become abnormally heavy over the past few weeks so I thought it would be a good time to do a post on the things I use in the shower.

My trusty shower caddy from Target

Purple Shampoos
I have talked about both of these products so much on this blog so it shouldn't be a surprise that they are constantly in my shower caddy.
Schwarzkopf's Bonacure Color Save Silver Shampoo: I use this product when my hair isn't very brassy and only needs to be rinsed with purple shampoo. It's my more inexpensive purple shampoo I use (it runs from about $10 on Amazon) so for days where I don't need a ton of toning or don't have a lot of time to leave the product sitting on my head, I turn to this. It has a thin consistency and you can get a pretty good lather going which isn't a feature for a lot of purple shampoos
Fudge Urban's Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo: I have to special order this stuff from overseas so a bottle of it can easily cost me about $20, but it's so worth it. I have yet to find a purple shampoo that is as dark and pigmented as this. I turn to this product when my hair is starting to turn yellow or when I have time to leave the shampoo on my head for more than five minutes. A bottle of this usually lasts me about 4 or 5 months because you only need to use a little of it. It's powerful and really keeps my hair toned.
Shampoos
OGX's Healing and Vitamin E Shampoo: I shampoo my hair only two times a week and I switch off between this and purple shampoo. Toning shampoos can be really drying and damaging to hair so I like to alternate the times I use it. This shampoo helps control the frizziness in my hair and helps to build back up the elasticity in my hair that keeps breakage from happening. It's a very gentle shampoo on the hair and I am so glad my hair dresser recommended this to me.

Conditioners
I am kind of a conditioner hoarder and am constantly trying out different products and going through bottles after bottles.
Clear's Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy Intense Hydration Hair Mask: This is a hair mask that I use mostly when my scalp is ultra dry. It does a great job at hydrating the skin and getting rid of flakiness during those cold months or when my hair has just been bleached. It's so-so on the conditioning of the actual hair, but this is definitely a product I recommend for those with dry scalp.
Dove Hair Therapy Damage Solutions Conditioner: I don't really know why I have this in my shower caddy still because I don't use it that much. When I use the Clear Hair Mask, I normally apply this Dove Conditioner to the ends of my hair. It does do a relatively good job at keeping my hair soft and silky.
Palmer's Olive Oil Formula Deep Conditioner: This is the holy grail of deep conditioners. It kind of smells like sunscreen but I use this once or twice a month and it really penetrates my hair and leaves it feel incredibly soft. I can't remember where I bought this and have been trying to ration it out until I figure out where I picked it up. I recommend everyone pick this up if you are looking for a good deep conditioner - it works wonders.

Face
Burt's Bees Peach and Willow Bark Deep Pore Scrub: I only use this when I'm in the shower and it does a great job at removing my makeup and exfoliating my face at the same time. It has natural ingredients so my face doesn't feel dry and tight after I am done with my shower.

Shaving creams
Pure Slik's Sensitive Skin Moisturizing Therapy Shaving Cream: This stuff smells incredible and doesn't dry out my legs after using it. I am pretty partial to shaving creams, but I love the way my legs feel after using this. It's not too thick, but still has a good enough consistency to cover my legs with just a little amount.

Body washes
Philosophy's Candy Cane Shower Gel: I believe this was featured in one of my favorite posts and I am still obsessed with it. When I use mint scented products, I just feel cleaner than I do when I use other soaps. Now whether that is true or not, I don't know. This stuff will last me well over a year and I will be sad when it is gone. It is my favorite product to use in the shower.
One Direction's Our Moment Shower Gel: This came in a set when I got the perfume for Christmas last year. I don't use it as much as I used to because I use another perfume, but with spring here and summer to come, I am going to break this stuff out more. It smells incredible and is extremely bubbly in the shower.

Scrubs
Homemade coconut oil and brown sugar scrub: My sister and I made this stuff over spring break and it has become one of my favorite products to use. I got so tired of buying all of these different body scrubs, that we decided to make our own. The coconut oil is incredibly hydrating and gentle to the skin and the sugar is the perfect exfoliant and melts off in the shower. It's something incredibly easy that everyone can make in five minutes flat and you really will notice your skin start to become more soft.

Samples
My shower caddy isn't complete with samples from Lush (or Sephora....or anywhere really). Since I have a hard time committing to more expensive beauty products, I go through about four or five samples before I actually decided whether or not to purchase. Now, I haven't tried either of these yet, but we will see how I like them.
Marilyn Hair Treatment: This is a hair treatment catered towards people with blonde hair and helps to nourish it with nutrients and vitamins and help strengthen to the follicles. It's supposed to keep the brassy tones in blonde hair at bay and leave the hair color appearing more vibrant.
Daddy-O Shampoo: This is just a standard and incredibly pigmented purple shampoo that I thought would give a go.

Hope all is well.
Just love me:
