October Favorites

NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick in Chardonnay Shimmer
I have a gold KIKO highlighter that I am slowly running out of and don't want to pay for online shipping on it so I picked up this highlighter at Ulta and am a big fan of it. I try and do my makeup in under 15 minutes on days I have work and class and with this product, I can just apply and rub it in and don't have to worry about using a brush or anything like that. It's an extremely bright highlight and really brightens up my skin and gives it a nice golden sheen to it.
Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob
These lipliners are so cheap and work so well. They are creamy and just glide on so effortlessly. I have three shades, but Eastend snob is definitely my favorite. It's the perfect nude lipliner that I can use as a base for the everyday lipstick shades I enjoy using. It goes on smooth and helps my lipstick last hours longer.

Bed Head Tigi Dual Waver
I bought this hair tool my freshman year of high school and didn't use it at all last year, but since I am growing out my natural hair for the time being, I have decided to start styling my hair a bit more. This tool is easy to use and really gives my hair that messy, beachy wave look that I really like. I think I paid like $25 for the tool and I can have my hair done in ten minutes and I'm out the door.

Tresemme Heat Tamer Protective Spray
Heat protective spray is so so important when you are styling your hair especially if your hair is dyed and damaged like mine. This stuff is cheap, it smells great and the nozzle really deposits the product onto my hair evenly unlike some other protectants I have used on my hair.
Pravana Chromasilk Vivids in Silver
Since I am growing my hair out, I am using the usual toner I use to get the brassy colors out of my hair so I have switched to dyes. This stuff is about $15 a tube, but it works MAGIC. I am so happy I picked it up, it really leaves a true silver color in my hair and it's soft and silky after I use it. Definitely worth the price and is far better than the Ion Brilliance colors I was using before.
Everything Feels Better Now by From Indian Lakes
From Indian Lakes are one of my favorite bands and I am so impressed by this new album from them. It is so beautifully written and is a refreshing change from their previous albums that are far more stripped down rock than this. It's more upbeat, more poppy and is a step in the right direction for them. If you love quality songwriting and perfectly composed songs, definitely check out this album.
Listen to: Hello and Lose Myself

Hope all is well.
Just love me:
