Woman Crush Wednesday #5 - Cara Delevingne

(I have terrible eyebrow envy)
This girl's face is all over the fashion world. In every ad, on every catwalk and a part of every campaign - Cara Delevingne is there. And I love every minute of it. Now for Cara, I don't really put her in the typical supermodel cluster because she dresses and acts like such a normal human being when she isn't be chased by everyone in the fashion world. Her street style and everyday looks are so simply and casually put together, but they always work beautifully.
Rather than going through every outfit and analyzing what I love about each one, I am going to talk about Cara's style as a whole. Cara keeps it pretty fucking simple and cozy when it comes to her everyday clothes. She loves to layer and mix prints - the huge camo and jean jackets are some of my favorites. Her love for hats (I am in the middle of a beanie craze) keep the look so casual, I just can't get enough of all of the beanies she pulls onto her head. For Cara, it's the little things in her outfits that make them all stand out for me. The boots in the second images are TO DIE FOR. I am obsessed with them and the cuffed black socks go perfectly with her cut off jean shorts (ones that she wears often). Cara is all about being comfortable when she is out and about - she doesn't seem to spend too much time putting together an outfit - what she wears is effortless and I love the messy street style she goes for. She is a free spirit and literally puts on whatever she wants and makes it work perfectly because she is so gorgeous.

I am currently going through a phase of wardrobe simplicity (I am in college after all) and definitely look towards Cara's mix of patterns and simple clothing items to gain inspiration. Simple is the new style.
And now, for the finale....
The Burberry Prorsum Quilted Leather Jacket
(Insert tears)
This jacket makes me weep. Its a piece that Cara wears often and I swear, a piece of me dies every time I see it because it is not mine. The quilted sleeves and pattern and the sheer look of it is basically a wet dream for me. Cara wears this jacket with everything and almost anywhere she goes and its not hard to understand why. This jacket runs about $4,000 and if I had it, I would probably sleep, bathe and cry in it everyday. It would never leave my body. I take after my mother and have a deep admiration for a good leather jacket - they were clothing items that you can LITERALLY WEAR WITH ANYTHING and look fabulous.
