As the second post of my hair series, I thought it would be important for me to first address the sudden hair trend that is pastel and silver hair colors. Why has it become so popular? And more importantly, what do I LOVE about it?
So I've had my silver/grey hair for almost a year now and I have noticed that the trend is becoming very popular because as time goes on, I have been seeing more and more people with it.
The new platinum blonde/silver/grey hair color is the new go-to hair style and has been seen all around Hollywood, on celebrities and online. It's different and fun!
Ellie Goulding was one of the first celebrities I really saw rocking this hair style (way back during her Lights album cycle) and I was completely obsessed with it. From there, girls like Little Mix's Perrie Edwards and Lou Teasdale really carried on the trend.
Now, it might be just me, but part of the reason I adore this hair color is because it gives me space to experiment different hair products and colors at my leisure.
Pastel hair colors have become a very hot trend this past year, with women like Nicole Richie, Kelly Osbourne and Helen Melonlady being just a few to rock the pastel purple color.
When your hair is light enough to add different temporary hair colors, the experimentation and possibilities are endless which is why this hair style has become so popular. It's fun, its easy and you can be as messy with it as you want!
Not to mention - almost everyone can do this hair color! I have yet to see a person who cannot pull off this hair trend so for those of you that have been looking to take the plunge, now might be your time!
