October Obsessions

It's been an embarrassingly long time since I have blogged and for that, I apologize. I just began a (second) part-time job and with those going on and school, I don't have much free times! I am back to talk about the things I became obsessed with this month! October just flew by!

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars
My lovely sister gifted me these for my birthday and I completely adore them. I have been living off Sephora samples of these and I am so glad to have tubes of my own. OCC has probably fifty different shades of lip tars in every color you can imagine. As a girl who wears a lot of black and white, I like to stick to the pink and red tones when it comes to lip color and these three shades are wonderful (Nylon, Trollop and Harlot). Not only does this product last forever, but I don't have to reapply as often as I would if I were wearing just a normal drugstore lipstick. It adds vibrant pops of colors to your lips and there are shades out there for every type of person. The only downside is that it can get quite messy when first applying, but hey, practice makes perfect!

Bite Beauty Cosmetics' Best Bite Remix
This was a birthday gift from my roommate. I get very lazy when it comes to makeup which is why lip crayons like these are so lovely. The are easy to apply, touch up and come in some amazing colors (left to right: sable, rhubarb, pomegranate and winterberry). These are compact and I can easily throw them into my purse or backpack when I am on the go. Again, these are the perfect colors to go with my wardrobe and the spectrum of light and dark shades they come with can be paired with some many different looks.

Roses de Chloe Perfume
If heaven had a scent...this might just be it. I normally go for a very woody type smell when it comes to perfume, but I fell in love with this the instant I smelled it. It literally smells EXACTLY like roses - it's light, it's girly and it's all I want in a scent. I have been living off of Sephora Samples until the holidays arrive so I can snatch this up during a sale or unwrap it as a gift. The smell is so subtle and isn't overpowering, it's a perfume someone could be wearing and not know that they are actually wearing perfume.

Mango Black Small Bowling Bag
I picked this bag up right before I left for school. I was in need of a purse that wasn't as massive as my other ones, but was still big enough to carry all of the nonsense I feel the need to bring around with me. I have been OBSESSING over Saint Laurent's line of duffle bags for months, but as a college student, I can't afford the $1800 price tag. This purse is a great in-between of that. It has a great shape, the material it's made of isn't cheap and it's the perfect size. Mango is a really great website with so many different things to look at. This purse was really hard to get my hands on! It had been out of stock three times before I was able to snatch it up and I am glad I did. It has the option of carrying it with the two handles or resting it on my shoulder which is always something I look for in a bag.

How To Get Away With Murder
Very rarely do I watch a show every week that it airs. I normally wait for the season to finish and then I marathon it in a day while stuffing my face with trail mix. This show is incredible! I am addicted to crime shows, but this one is so different from the Law and Orders of TV. It has a storyline that immediately gets you drawn in and the acting on this show is something that can't even be described. If you are looking for a good fall crime show with heart and incredible writing, definitely start watching this show on Thursdays.

Taylor Swift's 1989
Can't. Stop. Listening. I have such a love-hate relationship with Miss Swift, but no matter what I do, I become hooked on the albums she releases. This entire album from start to finish is her best yet. I was so hesitant about her transition into pop, but she has proven that she can still remain at the top. While I could do without "Shake It Off" and "Out Of The Woods", the writing and composition of these songs are so mature, so catchy and so Taylor. I haven't stopped listening to it since it came out and I probably won't stop any time soon. Whether walking to class, grocery shopping, taking the bus - this album is playing through my headphones.
Listen to: Wildest Dreams, I Know Places and Blank Space

Just love me:
