2015 Fall RTW: London Fashion Week

Emilia Wickstead
I love how clean cut and simple this line in. It's a collection that will suit many different women because you can style each garment to fit your own personality. The pastel coral color palette is GORGEOUS, my particularly favorite items of the collection being the belted flowy dresses. It's very almost Brady Bunch to me which definitely isn't a bad thing. It, as well, has a very Wes Anderson feel to it. I could see each piece from this collection somehow fitting into one of his movies.

Erdem
I look forward to seeing Erdem's collections every season. Although I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as their 2015 Spring RTW collection, I do very much enjoy this. The very structured pieces, but feminine patterns and fabrics are a beautiful contrast and are displayed perfectly on the runway. My favorite Erdem pieces have always been the long and sheer gowns, the ones in this collection being my front runners again. Erdem always displays such elegance and simplicity with their pieces, it draws me in every time.

House of Holland
Long live Henry Holland. As one of my favorite designers, I also look forward to seeing his collections every season. There is always something so whimsical to them. They are always flashy, bright and fun which I obviously love seeing on the runway. The concepts are always so simple and youthful, the mix of patterns and colors quickly attracting any eye that is nearby. For this collection, I was a huge fan of the pink and red tones which are two colors that are normally heavily incorporated into Henry's collections. The silhouettes are always so structured, giving off a very strong female image on every garment. The fur was something I was surprised to see from House of Holland because he hasn't used too much of it these past few seasons and I have never really been a fan of it. However, the dark tones of blue and purple that he used allows for the fur to not be completely overbearing and actually make the looks look quite polished, but still with a hint of the House of Holland rebellion.

Giles
I was so drawn to this collection for some reason. It might very well be the contrast between the gothic Victorian garments and the coral toned pieces. There is something so perfectly imbalanced about this collection, but it all somehow comes together as a very powerful line. The concepts and tailoring of each piece are so strong and bold that I can't help but be completely in love with it. The monochromatic pieces with the heavy patterned detailing are my favorites from the collection, making a perfect closet staple item for any person. The dramatic down coats featured in this line are all pieces I want in my closet for this fall.

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi
In past seasons, Preen has always been kind of on my radar, but has never been one of my favorite lines in a season. However, that has all changed with this collection. I would wear practically every single piece in this collection. I am particularly a huge fan of the dresses that have very bright accents and patterns on them. They are edgy and fun and would be perfect to wear in the fall. This line caters to a younger demographic, but still is mature and well styled. My favorite piece within this collection has to bet he dress with the heavy blue flowers. It is a piece that can be worn completely on its own and really have a strong statement.

Hope all is well.
