Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity Vitamin C Facial Wash
I picked this up at Boots because I am out of my beloved Philosophy Purity Cleanser and am going to wait until I return home to purchase a big bottle of it. This stuff was on offer for about six quid and I have had good experiences with past Soap and Glory products so I decided to give this a shot. While I don't love it as much as my Purity cleanser, this does a great job at gently cleansing my face and really waking it up in the morning. It has a cool sensation on my skin because it's a gel consistency and removes all of the dirt that builds on my skin throughout the day. It is a great cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (in 01 Fair)
I understand the hype of this now. It took me ages to actually get a hold of this stuff in my shade because it's always sold out at the Boots I go to. I was in desperate need of a concealer so I picked this one up and instantly fell in love. It has a thicker consistency than most concealers which is perfect for me on days where I don't want to wear a lot of makeup. I can just conceal my spots and under eyes with this and put on a little powder and be good to go. Also, you can't beat the price.
Haribo Sour Cherry Candies
I am full-blown 100% obsessed with these. I can get them at Poundland and they are honestly just the greatest gummies to munch on when I need something sweet. I am pretty sure I can't get these in the states so I am going to have to fill a suitcase with them when I leave London.
I'm With The Band: Confessions of a Groupie by Pamela Des Barres
I just finished this book today and it was such a good read. I love reading anything involving music and life in the 60s and 70s. I had been wanting to read this book for a while and picked it up to read on the tube when I am coming and going from place to place. I ended up finishing it in two weeks and only read it while on transit which just shows how much time I spend on transit in a given week. For anyone looking for a biographical read about banging musicians like Mick Jagger and Jimmy Page, pick this one up.
Lemonade by Beyonce
This has basically been on repeat since it came out. I am a sucker for concept album and this just happens to have nothing but great songs on it. I wasn't a huge fan of her last album, but this has completely blown me away. "Sorry" and "Don't Hurt Yourself" are definitely my favorite tracks.
Sincerely John The Ghost by John The Ghost
John O'Callaghan is one of my favorite songwriters in music so when he released his EP today, I knew I was going to be obsessed with it. His voice is so soothing and his lyrics have always spoken to me throughout the years. His poetry that he shares on his blog, YouTube videos and everywhere else are some of my favorite pieces of writing. This EP is incredible and everyone needs to give it a listen.
Listen To: The Whole of Your Heart and Everyone is a DJ
I launched my new website this week so it is definitely one of my favorite things. It would mean a lot if you would check it out and take a look at some of my favorite shots from over the years of shooting shows!
Hope all is well.
Just love me:
