Today was the going away party for my friend Holli who is leaving early for The University Of Washington. In honor, I wore (after it was done being humid) the UW crewneck I thrifted last week. I know she is off to bigger and better things!
I wore my favorite polka dot skirt (I am obsessed with patterns) which is from Target. Never underestimate the power of Target, they have the cutest and most affordable basics, and fun, clothing. I paired it with a plain grey shirt so to make the outfit more fun, I added a colorful patterned belt for a pop of color and my galaxy shoes I made myself. I get asked about them a lot so I was thinking about doing a DIY post on how to made them because it's so fun and so easy!
My go-to hairstyle this summer has been the "mermaid" waves. I just add some leave-in conditioner and coconut milk oil into my damp hair and put them in braids overnight. Its so easy and cute to do!
I also picked up a new ring in downtown Olympia I am currently obsessed with. I normally don't wear gold jewelry, but I have lately been on the lookout for rings because they are slowly becoming my favorite jewelry.
