I had purchased this layering top, cardigan, whatever you would call it thing about two weeks before I left for school back in the fall and I haven't had an opportunity to wear it until now.
I almost wore a dress with this until I realized I wanted to be comfortable today. So I went for my go-to high waisted jeans and a comfy tank top. This floral pattern cardigan is the easiest thing to add into an outfit of mine because all I wear is black.
I added the brown braided belt to break up the black and add an extra pop of something that matches the cardigan. This outfit was incredibly easy to throw together and its the perfect look for my presentation today.
The hair at the moment is currently a hot mess. My fringe is at an awkward length and is constantly in my face (thank god for this new braid look) and my roots are slowly taking over. I am fortunately getting them done next week when I go home for break so I will show you all the finished product and will probably make a rant post about going to a salon to get your hair bleached rather than doing it yourself.

And thank you to all of the people who messaged me on Tumblr and asked if I was okay. A helicopter crashed by the Seattle Center this morning, killing two people. My thoughts go out to their families and I hope everyone in that area stayed safe. My campus is fortunately quite far from the center so I was just fine.
