I will forever be an Olsen twins fan. Their fashion has always been incredible and they are still two people I turn towards for fashion inspiration. Today, however, I want to focus on their amazing and iconic locks!
I have a weakness for the perfect tousled, beach waves that both Mary-Kate and Ashley are known for.
As a girl that doesn't have time to style her hair much because of my busy schedule, the new bedhead/beach waves that the twins are always rocking are my ideal style. Not only does the messy hair look take almost no time at all, but its a style that can work for everyone and everything you wear!
So for those that they are looking too add some beach waves to their style, here are some steps I take for the perfect hair.
1) Give your hair a little wash in the shower
2) After towel drying, allow your hair to dry until it's damp
3) Spritz in some sea salt spray evenly throughout hair
4) Put hair up in a loose scrunchie and let your hair dry some more (this adds some messy texture)
5) Once hair is almost dry, take it out of the scrunchie and spray more sea salt spray through the hair, scrunching it in an upward motion with your hand.
6) Spray your roots with dry shampoo to add extra body and volume
7) Let your hair dry:
if you shower in the morning/daytime - let your hair air dry the rest of the way.
if you shower at night - obviously just sleep with your hair wet.
8) Spray a light coat of hairspray throughout hair for a hold
I normally shower at night and sleeping with your hair slightly damp adds more texture and body to your hair when you get up the next day. And clearly, it adds more of that messy bedhead look because it is.
This is the easiest hair style to achieve and its my new go-to!

With spring and summer coming up, if you are looking for a low maintenance hair style to fit with the seasons, this is the one for you! It's easy and doesn't have to be perfect. In fact, it's better if it's not perfect!
The best hair advice I can give to people is simple - the messier, the better.
