April Obsessions

Hey guys! I am back with my favorite beauty products of the month since tomorrow is the first of May! So enjoy!
Elizabeth and James: Nirvana Black and White by Mary-Kate and Ashley
So as some of you may know, I am a huge Sephora sample whore. Every single time I go into that store, I leave with at least four samples. I smelled these perfumes for the first time last month and now, I always carry a same of them in my bag.
Nirvana Black: This one is definitely my favorite of the two. It has more of a woodsy smell with vanilla, sandalwood, lavender, etc. It isn't light or fruity by any means which I greatly enjoy.
Nirvana White: This is more a lighter scent. With tones of peony, it has a musky floral smell that is definitely a lot sweater than the other.
And did you know you can mix both together? And yes, it still smell amazing. Whether you are more of a Nirvana Black and Nirvana White girl, both of these scents are amazing and they are a nice change from my normal perfume!
Rimmel London's 60 Seconds Nail Polish
When it comes to a lot of beauty products, I try to avoid spending as much money as possible (college student blues). When it comes to nail polishes, if I am not getting them done at a salon, I do NOT want to spend a great sum of money for a nail varnish that I will probably take off (or chip off) in a couple of days. That is why I turned to this polish line.
They are very inexpensive and I have come to find that I can go a week without them chipping at all! They are very easy to apply and I enjoy the brushes they come with. The application is smooth and Rimmel London just released new pastel colors that are great!
And they dry quickly! I am a VERY impatient person and do not want to spend twenty minutes waiting for my nails to dry. This brand is fast drying so I can do my nails and will not be rushing to class!
This is a great nail polish line for people out there like that change their polishes constantly and are looking for nice colors that won't break the bank.

Rimmel London's Scanaleyes Retro Glam Mascara
About a month ago, I mentioned this mascara in a post. I am huge on mascara and find myself going through tubes of it constantly. I recently picked up this one because it was new and I have had an okay experience with Rimmel London mascaras in the past (they aren't my favorite though). This mascara is great! Half of the time, I find myself having to use different wands and mascaras to really get the full eyelash look I am searching for. With this, however, it is the only thing I need for my top and bottom lashes. I am huge on the chunky/clumpy or as Lou might call it "tarantula lashes". The brush on this is great and the actual mascara is the perfect black shade and it all really goes on smoothly. For a drugstore mascara, it works pretty darn good!
Fudge Urban's Iced Tropical Cocktail Miracles Ends Cream
For those of you that have been following this blog for a while, you may be aware of how much I love Fudge products. Some of them have recently made their way across the pond and are easily accessible at Target. This product is one of them. Not only does it smell amazing, but it really leaves my hair feeling soft! I use it in three ways.
#1: I smooth in through my nearly dry hair to help contain the frizz and condition the ends.
#2: I apply through my dry hair as a way to add texture and leave it smelling fresh and clean.
#3: I run it through my hair before sectioning my hair into four braids and going to bed. It leaves a natural wave, smells great and holds the texture in my hair all day long.
There are probably a hundred different ways to use this product. The smell alone sold me on this one.
Sally Hansen's Big Shiny Top Coat
I have had a battle with top coats and it has been long - I just never seem to find the right one. I was with my cousin last week and noticed her nails and asked where she got them done. It ended up that she had done them herself and it was this top coat that made it look like they were professionally done. So naturally, I went out and got my hands on a bottle. Not only does this top coat go on so smoothly, but it dries super fast and is honestly, the shiniest top coat I have ever used. It doesn't cause my colored varnish to chip and really does give it that professional look. After searching and searching, I finally found a top coat I love!!

Hope all is well.

Just love me:
