As one of the more innovative collections from PFW, I could not get enough of the different use of materials as well as the dramatic silhouettes. The chain link looks looked like pieces of architecture and I was in awe of how they were constructed. With the very hard and bold material such as the chain link, it was refreshing to see the designs portraying a very feminine side while still being a very strong structurally. I had to look through this collection a few times because I was really able to grasp the vision behind it and once I saw each garment up close, I was sold. Each piece brought on its own amount of curiosity as I looked at every detail - it truly was a phenomenal collection.

This was one of the first collections from PFW I had seen and I instantly fell in love with the vivid and vibrant prints and colors incorporated into each look. Manish Arora is known for the embellishments he displays on everything he creates, this collection being no exception. Taking influence from his own culture, he managed to create such a lighthearted and upbeat line with the overly feminine designs and urban influenced pieces such as biker shorts, caps and fanny packs. It was a cross of so many different cultures and current fashion fads, but it somehow all blended together and created such a beautiful line. From the full length gowns, shorts, skirts and t-shirt dresses - he didn't miss a beat this season.

Undercover

As one of the more whimsical lines, the craftsmanship on each piece is so clear in this collection. Right down to the stitches on the black leather jackets I am dying over, there was so much to take in. The heavily patterned dresses that came down the runway mid show really caught my eye - they are rich in color and stand beautifully on their own with their strong designs. This collection had a little bit of everything - from fitted pants, to theatrical masks and wings, Undercover really went for a show on the runway. From the gorgeous mint green and pastels, to the heavy black of the dresses and leather jackets at the end of the show, the amount of variety and styles in this collection is never ending and I find myself discovering more each time I look at it.

Hope all is well.
Just love me:
