I am so wishy washy with Givenchy. I either love what is produced or hate it. This collection had the perfect balance of feminine detailing and masculine silhouettes and fabrics. The main black and white palette of this line was something I really enjoyed and the incorporation of leather work was done in such a sophisticated way. There were garments that were flowy, structured, sheer, feathery, heavily embellished and effortlessly assembled. My favorite looks had to be the ones that used the leather and the tulle to create this heavy contrast of fabrics - it was a constant battle of light and heavy fabrics, dark and light colors, but everything was put together beautifully in the end.

3. Elie Saab

Now if you have been following for my blog, you know how obsessed I am with Elie Saab. Anything and everything created by him are all pieces I immediately fall in love with. There is a such a great distinction in how he designs each piece - it becomes very apparent on what is and isn't Elie Saab. The attention to detail and the vibrant colored fabrics that are used are such a trademark with this designer and it really sets his collections a part from many others. No design is ever overlooked and his weaving of strips of fabric and lace have always been some of my favorite work. He really knows how to dress a women's body. The traditional rectangular neckline happens to be my favorite - it is a shape I believe flatters most people. His gowns almost always seem weightless and move with the body. From simple lace to tropical fabrics and wave like detailing - this was another classic Elie Saab collection I am completely infatuated with.

2. Chanel

This was more than just a collection - it was a political statement. As a way to showcase the new empowering movement for gender equality, Chanel overdid itself yet again. With over seventy looks to take in, traditional Chanel and the new age of fashion collided on this runway and unveiled a completely captivating collection. This time around, the traditional and classic designs of Chanel were shown, but they were mixed with an array of bright and vibrant fabrics. Some looks were edgy, others simple and light, but overall, this entire collection caters to any type of women out there. I could just be bias because Karl Lagerfeld will forever be one of my favorite visionaries of all time, but Chanel always manages to reach a caliber that no other designer can. There is such a fusion between the old and the new that just works so well, it's something that is very hard to explain. Chanel is managing to keep with the times while still sticking to the images that they started with - it's amazing to see it all develop over time. Of all of the runway shows this season, watch this one (HERE).

1. Valentino

Bless. Just bless. Just like the Marchesa collection earlier last month, I was in complete awe over this collection. Like HOW. This is collection that truly needs to be up close because the detailing is unreal. This was such a delicate and light collection - the chiffon, the small detailing and the strong patterns just completely took my breath away. Valentino never disappoints and this might be one of my favorite collections yet. From more casual wear to the most lavished of gowns, the amount of artistry that went into this is something that cannot be even described. Just dress me in these gowns forever.
Hope all is well.
Just love me:
