I am falling behind on my fashion week coverage and am currently trying to catch up. Here are the collections from New York Fashion Week that tickled me fancy.
Alexander Wang
I am all for all black pieces. This mix of chunky goth styled garments and staple comfort items like flannels and knit sweaters allows for the perfect combination of everyday style and Alexander Wang boldness. The grungy styling of the hair and the dark demeanors on all of the models' faces made this another classic AW show. Whatever your style might be, you can find a piece from this collection that is right for you.

Carolina Herrera
Incredible. This water and wave inspired collection shows a well balanced variety of heavily detailed and perfectly draped gowns. The color palette for this collection is what gets me the most. From the bold metallics that embellish the dresses to the deep blues and pastels, this is a collection of gowns that are just plain art.

Marc Jacobs
Marc never disappoints me. He always manages to take two very different styles and incorporate them together, making a perfectly balanced collection. Layering bright sundresses with dark overcoats and black shoes, this collection offers the perfect autumn twist between dark and light. Marc always puts out collections where the pieces can make a statement on their own and joining them together creates an even stronger concept.

Naeem Khan
Naeem's play with color has always been something that catches my eye. While his neutral colored gowns are exquisite, it's his use of bright fabrics and pattern that are my favorite parts of his collection. He manages to take simple sweetheart necklines and lace and transform it into something completely different. His collections always offer a wide variety of styles that give us a lot to look out - from draped gowns to sparkle and floral embellishments, he doesn't miss a bit.

Delpozo
I quickly fell in love with Delpozo last year and have been looking forward to his collections every sense. His strong quirky designs and bold use of color makes a Delpozo design hard to miss. He really likes to play with the eye. From cartoonish silhouettes and use of fabric (the knitting of the sweater/the neon colors), he brings a fresh and reviving take to simple sweaters and skirts and a modern twist on the classic gown.

Marchesa
Marchesa will forever be one of my favorite designers of all time. Their collections have consistently never disappointed me and while this collection didn't reach the caliber their 2014 Fall RTW collection did, it is still phenomenal. All of their gowns are so elegant and tastefully down, any woman wearing these designs are guaranteed to feel like royalty. They pay such close attention to not only detail, but how the fabric is going to flow that it makes each piece incredibly dramatic.

Hope all is well.
Just love me:
