This is a big one, guys. I look forward to the Met Gala every year because some of the most memorable fashion moments happen. This year was no exception especially with its "China Through The Looking Glass" theme. There were so many looks I loved and loathed and I didn't want to leave anyone out.
Top Looks of the Night:
Sienna Miller in Thakoon
I love anything Sienna Miller wears and I think the look was perfect for the theme of the night. The overall styling with the smile hair and makeup and statement earrings to go with the tassel belt around her waist perfectly complimented the sequined pants and jacket.
Zendaya in Fausto Puglisi

Zendaya in Fausto Puglisi
She has such great carpet style and this look had the perfect amount of dramatics for the evening. I love the colors and the shape of the train and skirt are youthful, but out there enough for the Met Gala. My favorite part about this look is probably the jewelry and headband she wore to mass the skirt - it adds a bit of fun to the overall appearance.
Solange in Giles
Solange in Giles
I was so excited when I saw her in this gown. It is the PERFECT dress to wear at the Met Gala and I feel like I would be scratching my head if I saw it anywhere else. The simplistic styling of her hair, shoes and jewelry really draw the eyes to the gown, but also allow her natural beauty to show through. It was a definite wow moment on the carpet.
Justin Bieber and Oliver Rousteing in Balmain
The best dressed men of the night in my opinion. I am not a huge Bieber fan, but he looked fabulous and gorgeous on the carpet. Oliver really went all out for these two jackets and I love that he had them be the statement of both of their looks. Close up, the embellishments are incredibly done and the traditional silhouettes keep the eyes focused on the jackets.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Atelier Versace
This dress looks like it was made for her. The color suits her skin tone so well and the gown really fits her body beautifully. Again, the signature red lip and slicked back hair allows for both her gown and beauty to shine through. I don't think she could have worn a gown more perfect for her.

Dakota Johnson in Chanel
Dakota in Chanel (or Saint Laurent) will be my downfall and I was giddy when I heard she would be wearing a Chanel piece to the Met Gala. This overall look is rather simple especially for the Met Gala, but Dakota isn't a star to really go over the top with her looks. She consistently keeps it classic and this look was no exception. Her new bob and dramatic cat eye liner and pink lipstick all add to the dress. Not to mention, her little Chanel bag is so adorable. This is definitely one of my favorite looks Dakota has had on the red carpet.

Rihanna in Guo Pei
All hail, Rihanna. She has had the best year when it comes to fashion and I didn't think it was possible for her to top her Grammy's look that I am still not over. She actually took the time to find a real Chinese designer to wear for the night and she picked the perfect look for the Met. The color is INCREDIBLE and the fine detailing took over two years to be completed by one person. This will definitely be a look that no one will ever forget and I can't wait to see what Rihanna does next.

Honorable Mention:
The Olsen Twins in vintage Christian Dior and John Galliano
The Olsen twins are my style icons and I look forward to see their Met style every year since it is one of the only red carpets they do every year. As a lover of all black outfits, the styling alone on these looks sold me. While I do prefer Ashley's gown over Mary-Kate's coat, the Olsen twins never do it wrong in my eyes. The vintage feel of the pieces and the feather and fur details make them look extravagant.

Cara Delevingne in Stella McCartney
This look took a minute for me to appreciate because I was so thrown off by the tattoos. I adore Cara in Stella McCartney and in pantsuits because they make her look incredibly strong and feminine. I love how the tattoos are used to tie the whole look in together with the theme and this pantsuit is tailored to perfection.
Zoe Kravitz in Alexander Wang
Zoe always keeps it relatively simple on the carpet and I love how this piece fits on her. The sheer grey fabric with the black underneath has an element of surprise to it and is in tune with her rock style. Her makeup is what I really fell in love with. The grey shadow and highlight makes her natural beauty and features shine through and compliments the grey and black tones of the gown perfectly.

Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein Collection
Green is not my favorite when it comes to gowns, but this shows off her figure so well. My jaw literally dropped when I first saw her. The straight and relaxed hair really keeps the look for being too overdone because the gown is so bright and has so many details. The high neck and long skirt doesn't make the laced up sides look like too much or well, trashy. She looks youthful while still being age appropriate and I am so happy she's not in black again!
Lily Collins in Chanel
Kendall Jenner wore this look on the Chanel couture runway and I fell in love with it instantly. Head to tone- the makeup, hair and styling are all perfect. The only reason why she wasn't in my top looks was because I feel like this was a little far off from the theme of the night. It seems almost a bit too casual in my eyes. This look is so Lily though which is why I was excited when I saw she was wearing it. The skirt detail at the bottom is exquisite and her bold brows and bright lips make her look so beautiful.

Worst Dressed:
Miley Cyrus in Alexander Wang
I love it and then I hate it. I feel like this would have been one of my top looks of the night if the cutouts weren't so large. Miley has an incredibly body, but this is the second time she has worn a gown with cut outs that I feel are just really awkward and not flattering. If they were like four or five inches smaller, I would love this look. Her teal hair and simple makeup are fresh and really breakup the heaviness of the gown, but the cutouts just don't work for me.
Katy Perry in Moschino
Gigi Hadid wore this exact dress on the runway last season and I fell in love. This entire look, however, is wrong in my opinion. Head to tone, I have problems. Her hair looks awful and the dress doesn't even remotely fit the theme of the night! I am just so confused by this and Katy had so many options for the night and went with Moschino. And I mean, I adore Jeremy Scott and Moschino, but this was not the right dress at all for the night.
Lose the gloves, the headpiece and the over the top liner and I might like this dress more. I know that Prada went for this futuristic, alien vibe this last season and that definitely shows through with this gown, but I just don't really get it. The color is pretty, but the styling is all wrong and really clashes together.
And my favorite couple of the night goes to FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson who are my OTP and recently got engaged. This was their first red carpet appearance together and my heart is so full with love.
Hope all is well.
Just love me:
