I haven't done one of these in over a month which is CRAZY to me - I can't believe time has gone by this quickly. However, my Woman Crush Wednesday this week is the lovely Taylor Swift. Here are some of my favorite looks she has rocked on the carpet and on the streets.
This Ellie Saab gown is the perfect "Taylor Swift" dress. It's elegant and soft, the off white color compliments her skin tone so well. Now while Taylor has never been too adventurous with her style, she has stayed pretty consistent with her choice of event dresses. They are always so sophisticated.
This is probably my favorite event dress that Taylor has ever worn. I am obsessed with the color and the detailing of the top. The fabric of the skirt is GORGEOUS and the dress manages to stay very classy while adding a twist with the sheer lace and nude backing of the top. The cut in itself is gorgeous and fits her frame so beautifully. Ugh, I want this dress.
This is definitely one of Taylor's more risky looks, but it worked out perfectly. This is the perfect look for the Brit Awards - the edgy black color and peek-a-boo slits in the skirt are so fresh and modern. The gold belt adds that extra something and the messy, casual styled hair really brings the whole look together.
2. Casual Looks - Taylor has always stayed simple with her everyday looks - dresses, patterned fabrics, color pants and sweaters being her go-tos.
I really do love how Taylor dresses her age. When she was younger, she used to wear strictly floral dresses everyday which I loved, but it did get quite boring and predictable. These days, she has been changing it up with hot pants, color jeans and has definitely been rocking some very beautiful accessories. In the first look, I am obsessed with this entire outfit and would most definitely wear this in everyday life. I want the shoes and the jacket especially - the all black adds that rock vibe that I love. The second look is just as great - the hotpants and long sleeve shirt give a nice balance of skin that is showing so the look isn't too revealing, this is Taylor after all. Taylor has always known how to dress to show off her beautiful figure - this look is definitely one that makes me go "wow". The third look is rather simple, yet adorable. I have noticed that when Taylor wears basics to make an outfit, she will throw in a fun bag or shoes to really take the outfit to a whole new love (I want those Oxfords!) And the last look is classic Taylor with the floral dress and up-do, definitely a look she rocked a lot a few years ago, but still beautiful. She is reason I started to incorporate so much floral in my wardrobe!
