So if you didn't know, I have officially moved to London! I will be going to university for the year and am so excited to finally be here. I have been posting a lot on social media (especially Instagram) about all of things I have done and what I have seen and I thought I would share some of the photos I have taken during my first week with you.
I spent the first two days with my cousin Ashley and doing a lot of sight seeing. She has been living in Belfast the past year and I am glad she was able to meet me and get settled. So far, Oxford Circus is one of my favorite places in the city because it's always busy, it's gorgeous and there are a lot of shopping opportunities.
The top picture is the view from the bedroom window in my flat and the bottom is of up the street. I am living in Notting Hill and I can't be more thankful to be in such a beautiful neighborhood. I am enthralled just by the architecture alone and it's just a happy little area.
Food is always important. I haven't eaten out a ton, but my current favorite place is Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Notting Hill. It's just a few blocks from my flat and is so delicious.
Regent Park is such a beautiful park full of incredible flowers and landscape.
Kensington Park is another one of my favorite parts of London. It's about a ten minute walk from my flat and is probably one of the most beautiful places I have to. I didn't plan on being so captivated when I went there, but once I was on the grounds, I didn't want to leave. I will be returning there often and I am sure there will be more photos from there in the future.
I decided to stop by the Burberry show since I was in the park where they were having their London Fashion Week show. It was probably one of the best decisions I will have ever made. I managed to see so many celebrities including Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sienna Miller and Jourdan Dunn. However, it was Cara Delevingne that really had me fangirling. It should be no secret that she is one of my favorite humans on this earth and being 100 feet away from her is something I can't even describe. Low key almost had a crying fit and also had an out of body experience.
Hope all is well.
Just love me:
