I had the honor of photographing Chastity Belt and Death Cab For Cutie last night at London's O2 Academy Brixton. While seeing one of my favorite bands and photographing a gig are two things I feel like I haven't done in a while, the Seattle bands made me feel at home in a place halfway around the world. However, the day following the show made me feel sad and homesick for reasons I don't even understand. While London has become one of my favorite places, I can't help but miss my family and the Seattle atmosphere from time to time.
Anyway, I am very excited to get back into photographing gigs while I am in London. I have missed it so much.
