I had the chance to attend Little Mix's album release party this past week and it was an incredibly experience. They are one of my favorite pop bands and I had the opportunity to meet them a few years ago and they are still as sweet as I remember them being.
Ahh! How was this two years ago? I ended up going to Vancouver, BC and interviewing them for the website I work for. They were Demi Lovato's opening act on her Neon Lights Tour. You can read a little post I did about it ---> HERE.
The event was hosted by Tape London, a wonderful bar and club that I definitely want to go back to. The girls did both a live performance and answered questions from fans. The entire thing was put on by Yahoo! and the event was streamed lived on their page.
Their new album is incredible and probably one of my favorites of the year. I know I mentioned the released singles in my past monthly favorite posts and the album as a whole is their best yet. I would highly recommend listening to "Love Me or Leave Me" and "Secret Love Song". The quality of writing has not only been stepped up on this album, but their vocals are better than ever before.

While I've met them before, this is the first time I've had the chance to see them live and they sound just as good on their albums as they do during their live performances. The talent these girls have is endless and I can't believe they aren't bigger in the music scene. Not only are they the sweetest girls, but they have talent and produce well written pop music with positive messages.
After their performance, they took the time to meet every single person that came to the event which says a lot about their character. Being a fan and listener over the years, I've noticed that they really try to go the extra mile for fans. They meet as many as they can and always take time to ask them how they are doing. The amount of positive questions and compliments I received from them over the night was almost overwhelming because it's shocking how sweet they are in real life.
They are incredibly down to earth and humble, always making sure to say thank you to anyone that comes their way. They really are just an amazing group of girls and I hope that their album does reach #1 here in the UK!

Hope all is well.
Just love me:
