Heart & Soul.

So for this quarter, I am making Thursdays my outfit post days (maybe one weekend day as well). Thursday mornings are really the only time I have between class and work to actually sit down, take photos and post them on this site. So yeah, Thursdays are outfit post days now.

Right before Christmas break, I picked up this super bright floral dress from Urban Outfitters on super sale (I think I paid like $7 for it). However, since it is still winter, I didn't really know how to wear the bright fabric without it looking too springy. Seattle is currently cold, rainy and gloomy so I didn't want to overdo it with this dress. So I decided to throw a grey sweatshirt on over it to break up the fabric and let be a subtle addition to my outfit.
Shout out to Fernanda for buying this sweatshirt for me for Christmas (even though I picked it out). I have a new addiction to any type of clothing that is some shade of grey, it's my new favorite color to wear. Crewneck style shirts and sweaters are my favorites as well and the subtle words across the front of this, and the style, allow me to pair it with basically anything.
Of course, gotta have my rings and I actually did my nails for once - that is a first!
It's been a long week and my hair deflates in the rain so I have been wearing it in a scrunchied side pony for the majority of the week. It's fun and keeps me from putting any heat on my hair and trust me, my hair could use a break for a little while.
And since it has been raining all week, I broke out my little rain booties! My "Love Niall" socks are trying to steal the show in this photo.
