^ such a stupid photo. Oh well.
So this is not an interesting blog post in the slightest, but I was itching to do another blog post. I just planned out everything I need to have done in the next two weeks and while I can't help but feel completely overwhelmed, I am trying to take everything in stride.
Work is in full swing starting next week, midterms are right around the corner and I picked up two days of volunteering so my posts on here definitely won't be as frequent as they have been these past two weeks. But I am mainly here to talk about two really big things going on in my life right now.
1. As of this week, I am officially getting back into music photography. For anyone out there that has been following any of my social media sites over the past two years, you know that I used to be heavily involved in the music scene and basically tried to shoot any type of show I could. Once college hit, however, I found myself getting more and more busy even though I finally didn't have to make the commute to Seattle for a show. It didn't hit me until recently that I truly miss being able to photograph different artists and meet people from all walks of life so I am officially throwing myself back into that sweaty photo pit.
- To go along with this, I just got news today about a HUGE interview opportunity in the next coming weeks that I can't wait to share with you guys. As soon as everything is finalized (or after the interview actually happens), I will share it with all of you.
2. I am in the early process of planning to study abroad this fall. It started out as a pipe dream, but I have decided to turn it into a reality. I have been itching to do some traveling ever since I graduated and well, I ended up going to university without really filling that void. Right now, I have my eyes set on studying at Westminster College in England through their communications program. I haven't really talked much about it because it seemed like a foolish dream, but after sitting down and looking at the financial side of it, my hard work has paid off and I can afford for it to be done.
- Now, I am not saying it is going to happen, but I am going to try and make it. I will probably start posting about my process with everything and getting geared up to go. And if for some reason Fall 2014 doesn't happen, I will definitely make Fall 2015 happen.
- At some point, I will make a huge long post about this study abroad dream I have had and why I chose to go to England.
Sometimes, you just gotta put yourself out there and hope for the best. I have felt like a hermit these past few months. I am not a creature of routine, in fact, I hate it. So I am going to start to do more things for myself and spend less time stressing about the little things. Life is get better soon enough.
Sorry for this little personal post, but I really wanted to share with everyone what is going on at the moment because I am bursting at the seams.
