So I am not going to fake it to you guys. I am a college student who doesn't spend a lot of time picking out her outfits anymore, a part from the days I have time before class or after work. I probably wear a dress two times a week and normally have the same pair of leggings and oversized band shirt on.
I do, however, have a few handy tips on how to be comfortable and look like you spent some time getting ready.
Jeggings and crewneck shirts and sweaters are my life saver, no really. They are comfortable and easy to throw on and make it seem like you actually took time to get ready in the morning. (I am looking at you, sweatpants). I always want to look somewhat put together when I go out, even if I am really tired and don't really want to spend time getting ready. The easiest thing to give off the "I tried really hard to look good" look is by ditching the sweatpants and throwing on some printed leggings or jeggings. I NEVER wear sweatpants out in public for this specific reason (plus I don't really care for them). H&M has a great assortment of solid and patterned jeans and jeggings that are really affordable - I picked up mine for $20.
I picked up this hot pink crewneck for $10 at H&M this past weekend and it is the perfect top to wear for days like these. The bright color contrasted the sad looking morning as I trekked to my math class for my exam and it is super soft and comfortable. H&M is the best place to pick up basics.
Another huge life saver is the top knot bun. When my hair needs a wash or is simply irritating me, I can throw it up into a top knot and not have to worry about it. It is more stable than a bun or a ponytail and I find myself not having to fix it (unless I sleep with it in). There are a few easy steps towards getting this perfect bun.
Top Knot Instructions:
1. Pull hair back into a secure ponytail and position it where you want the bun to be on your head.
2. Leave a chunk of hair out of the pony to use as a hair tie hider.
3. Pull all of the loose/baby hairs and layers out to achieve a messier look.
4. Wrap the ponytail around into a bun until you are happy with the shape. Tie down.
5. Take loose chunk of hair and wrap around the base of the bun and either tuck into the ponytail or pin with a bobby pin.
6. Hairspray is optional.
And that is it! A few simple steps!!
Again, jewelry is always a must and I wore my 1D friendship charm bracelet as a good luck charm for my exam today!
And boots always. Always boots.

I also have a new playlist for you guys as promised ! It's a shorter one than normal, but has the perfect mix of old favorites and new discoveries of mine. I know a lot of us are probably stressed and overwhelmed with stuff that is going on in our lives so tonight (or whenever), lay back in bed with your headphones and relax a little with my Lazy Winter playlist.
Listen to the Lazy Winter playlist ----> HERE.
I am going to try and make a vlog of some sort this week! So watch out for that! If you have any questions you want to ask me, leave them in the comments below!
And shout out to my Woman Crush Wednesday, Miss Barbara Palvin!
I hope you guys are doing good.
