My Favorite Collections From Fashion Week!

Fashion Week in New York and London happened recently and I caught myself watching a lot of the runway shows and looking up some of the new Spring/Summer 2014 collections so I decided to post and talk about my three favorite collections I saw from the two Fashion Week events.

#3 - New York Fashion Week: Jeremy Scott
I love everything that Jeremy Scott puts together. He is also going out of the box with this prints, textures and colors. I was DYING over his pink leather pieces and crazy graphic tees. His Spring/Summer 2014 collection is perfect for the young folks out there looking to add crazy color and patterns into their wardrobe. The retro inspiration of this collection completely captivated me as soon as the first model hit the runway. Nothing is ever too crazy for Jeremy and his collections continue to be perfection. I would literally wear almost every single garment that is in his collection. From the printed pants to the neon tees and even the leather pants, I want it all. Gimme it all!!! My eye is always catching the crazier types of fashion out there and Jeremy Scott captured everything I was hoping for in this line. His clothes allow people to show off their personality and exactly what type of person they are about which I love. All of the cuts on his tops, swimsuits and dresses are innovative, but still so flattering for the body! He is definitely a designer that isn't allowed to mix as many colors and patterns into one outfit as possible.

#2 - New York Fashion Week: Zac Posen
I saw the dress on the right first and literally wanted to cry because it's so beautiful (THE NECKLINE!!). Zac Posen's Spring/Summer 2014 line is probably one of my favorite of his collections he has ever put out. The feminine silhouettes are shaped so perfectly to the body, it can make all body types look FLAWLESS. His collection has the perfect balance between classy and dramatic pieces, many of the dresses holding very simple elements, but having that one WOW factor to make it stand out. The fabrics of this collection are beautiful as well -  the patterns are so simple and the earthy tones give each dress that delicate look to it. The middle dress had my jaw dropping to the floor. The colors are so BEAUTIFUL and the extravagant top is draped and structured so perfectly. Zac Posen NEVER disappoints with this clothing, but these dresses are from a whole new world. I want every single one. The dress on the left is the perfect PURPLE. Often times, I feel like purple fabric is either too dark, too light or just looks tacky. This almost grey purple color is flawless and the draping and shape of the skirt and the sleeves is just perfection. These dress remind me of candy - they are so sweet, innocent and would look flattering on ANYONE.

#1 - London Fashion Week: House of Holland
I have just recently discovered House of Holland and I am so glad I did. For this Spring/Summer 2014 collection, it was the concept that sold me. I LOVE art that arose with Christianity - I find all of it to be so beautiful. The designs from that area are heavily seen within this collection - from the Virgin Mary printed on the shirt on the far left and so on. This collection's color palette is flawless - I love the mix of the soft pastel colors with white and then the bold pinks with the dark blue and grey tones. All of it equally compliments each other and this line shows such a diverse group of garments that it takes my breath away. From graphic shirts to fitted jeans and short dresses - this collection has it all. I LOVE that this collection has pieces that can easily be dressed up or dressed down, being very diverse for women of every type. My favorite look is the dress in the middle - its such a simple silhouette, but the printed detailing and the very bold color just makes me fall in love with it. Its a dress that can easily be worn on its own or with a jacket and can be seen on someone either walking down the street or at an event. Each garment is so feminine whether its the details (lots of roses) or the way its cut - the balance between busy looks and simple outfits make this line so cohesive. This collection is made for women of any age - I saw a lot of youthful, young and fresh looks, but there were a few dresses on the runway that I could easily see an older woman wearing.
