Where Did You Go, My Dear?

Autumn is in full swing in Seattle so I bundled up today and went on a misson to track down Nylon's new issue with Alexa Chung on the cover (I managed to find a Chipotle along the way).
As of now, get used to messy dorm room selfies. :)
It's a rule at my school to wear red every Friday so I decided to throw on my velvet leggings from AA. They aren't a genuine red, but I am making it count. These leggings are super soft and comfy, but definitely aren't worth the price tag. I think American Apparel is outrageously over priced, but when I bought these a year ago - I was dying for a pair and caved in.

My friend has a uncle who works for Wildfox Couture and sends her a bunch of items from their lines to her all of time and she gave me this overly comfortable sweater that I found while I was packing and fell in love with again!
My beautiful cousin, Erin, recently left to study for a year in Italy and gave me this wonderful peacoat before she left. It's incredibly comfortable and even has a hood to shield me from the rain! This is my go-to jacket for this fall and winter. The style allows me to pair it with basically every outfit.

My little rain booties are one of my favorite thrifting finds to date. I am really not a huge fan of rain boots for the fact that I wear a lot of dresses and skirts and I really don't like pairing tall rubber boots with that type of stuff. I managed to come across these bad boys at a local thrift store in my hometown and it was love at first sight (and price - I got these for $10). I wear them everywhere now!
In case you guys didn't know, I am crazily obsessed with Alexa Chung and have been for years so I had to track down this magazine. Nylon is one of my favorite publications to read for the fact that they combine fashion, culture and music so well together (and their art design is amazing). I would highly suggest picking up this issue - it has some great photos of Alexa and the interview is really good. She has such an amazing soul (and will probably be my Woman Crush Wednesday next week).

Outfit:
Sweater - Wildfox
Leggings - American Apparel
Boots - Merona brand (thrifted)
Jacket - Yoki brand (given to me)

And before I forget! One of my best friends, Stacey, has started her own Youtube Channel and she is funnier than hell! Check out her first video here and make sure to subscribe because she will be making a whole lot more!
