Woman Crush Wednesday #2 - Hayley Williams

Paramore has been my favorite band for the past eight years and Hayley Williams is someone I have looked towards for inspiration in all aspects of her life, but one thing I give her so many kudos for is being able to rock just about anything. As a girl who seems to always be put on the worst dressed lists (whatever), Hayley has always been daring with what she wears. Her individualism is something I love (as well as her love for UNIF and Dr. Martens). Her wardrobe is also fairly inexpensive to get - many of her clothes come from ASOS, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and Nasty Gal. Her style is something that always keep me on the edge of my seat (in a good way). She is another case of taking simple clothing items and mixing them together to get a truly original outfit. I cannot wait to see what she will wear next.

Carpet outfits:

1. MTV Movie Awards - At first, I was so confused with this whole outfit, but I began to love it the more and more I looked at it. The cut out boots are to die for - I am currently searching for the perfect pair to add to my fast growing collection. The overalls are wonderful - I love how the tailored overall look is making a comeback (I am also looking for a cute pair of those to add to my closet). I think the thing that threw me off at first was the fact that the shirt was a crop top, but if it had been a long shirt, the outfit wouldn't have stood out as much. It shows off her great figure and the orange socks add her personality to the outfit. Three of the biggest trends right now (cut out boots, overalls and crop tops) are all incorporated into the outfit and they go together really nicely.

2. People's Choice Awards - This is the perfect mixture of fun, wacky and girly. This is my favorite look Hayley has worn on the red carpet because the dress looks effortless on her. The dress was designed by Chelsea Rebelle who is known for making girly dress that have one element that make them stand out (this is one of my favorites she has designed). The teased hair keeps her from looking totally overdressed for the event and the black color looks great against her light skin.

3. Nylon Event - When I first saw this, my jaw dropped and I was utterly confused until I saw that this is a Jeremy Scott original and it all made sense. Hayley and Jeremy Scott have worked together closely in the past to put together event outfits for Hayley, all equally as crazy as the other. In all honesty, if anyone else were to wear this - I would probably hate it. But it looks AMAZING on Hayley. The dress is perfect for the outdoor, summer event - the yellow goes great with her skin tone and hair color. And I love that her undergarments aren't skimpy, but pretty darn modest. This look easily could have gone in the cheap and trashy direction. However, the shoes are not my favorite. The mixture with the red socks and the clunky black boots kind of take away from the outfit. If she were to have added some flats or sandals to go with the dress, it would have gone together perfectly.

Casual outfits:

1. Mac Release Party - Hayley is always known for mixing colors and patterns that normally shouldn't go together. This outfit just works for me for some reason - I love the little burst of color under her shirt that matches her hair. The striped top isn't too flashy so the extremely loud plaid pants don't cause the patterns to fight with one another. I would have liked to see Hayley wearing a different shoe that wasn't so dominate in the outfit and that allowed her to not have to cuff her pants. But the boots don't take away too much of the look to really bother me.

2. On Stage Summer 2013 - I just want those UNIF shorts. I am utterly obsessed with them. Hayley was first seen wearing them at a festival overseas and I swear, it was love at first sight. Lately, she was been really into the shorts and tights combo which I am all about and I love that the tights aren't just straight black, but have a pattern to them. She has the perfect body for the hot pants, they fit her perfectly and she looks completely comfortable. The basketball style tank top ties off the look perfectly - the plaid side of the shorts keep the outfit from looking completely simple with an all black palette. This is the perfect stage outfit to show off Hayley's rock side - gotta love those studs and plaid, right?

3. Christmas Show Run in 2010 - I saw Paramore back in 2010 during their string of Christmas shows in the winter and this outfit made me smile so wide. I can't quite place my finger on why I love it, it might be the fact that she can wear those gothic style Hot Topic plaid pants without looking like she should have a chain wallet attached to it. This was the perfect outfit for her to wear during the holiday season because it gives off her christmas cheer with the shirt while still showcasing her rock side on stage. If she were to have paired the top with a pair of solid color pants, I think the outfit would have looked completely boring. The tank top sweater almost looks like it was MADE for her (maybe it was??) because it fits her perfectly. The added Doc boots sold me because I am obsessed with the cherry red color.

Top three favorite Hayley hairs:
Hayley is the queen of changing up her do, even more than I do! These are my top three favorite hairstyles she has had over the years!

3. Chopped orange - I think short hair looks the best of Hayley because she kind of reminds me of a pixie and her bone structure calls for it. During this time, her hair was right about at her chin and was a very, very bright orange. I really don't like red hair all that much, I much prefer colors in the orangey range and orange colors work best with Hayley's complexion.

2. Baby bangs - I am a huge fan of the baby bangs (I even have them), but she looks flawless when they were really really short. Its a little bit of a wacky hairstyle without being completely over the top. Her hair color during this time was the perfect mixture of orange and red so it all went together really well. Plus, it was the longest her hair was been since she went blonde, I believe and they looked so cute when she had her hair up in a ponytail. Just staring at this photo makes me want to chop my bangs even shorter again! Ahhh.

1. Half pink, half orange - This is probably my favorite hair style that Hayley has had. As a fan of the split hair color (obviously), these two colors just went together so well! The pink and orange really complimented each other and Hayley was doing all sorts of cool hairstyles to play around with them. I really wish she still had this, but I do enjoy the chopped bright red hair she has currently. The half and half look was really fun and was a brand new hairstyle on Hayley I hadn't seen before! I mean, did you see the Still Into You music video? The hair + the baby bangs = flawless.
