So, I am a little bit behind, but I recently have completely and utterly fallen in love with Kim Kardashian's Givenchy wedding dress. It is basically my dream dress.
There are actual tears. I have always loved the concept of a long sleeve wedding dress, but haven't ever found any gowns that executed the look I was imagining. This dress really has everything. It has the beautiful lace long sleeves, the cutouts in the middle break up the fabric and show a little bit of skin and the belt keeps the look youthful.
This dress may go down as one of my favorite wedding gowns of all time. The open back with the lace detailing is gorgeous, I cannot get over the design of this gown - everything is in its place and fits Kim perfectly.
I love that the veil was longer than the dress train and was super detailed - it added a new type of style to the wedding and definitely gave it a big, dramatic look. For a lot of weddings, I feel like the veil never gets as much attention as it should.
The dress is beautifully fitted on her body and I love the trumpet style of the bottom with the lace. The detailing of the dress is so great that the attention should be focused on that which is why I am glad the dress wasn't heavily draped with fabric.
I completely adored Kim's makeup. The heavy eye makeup, perfect eyebrows and nude lips was so refreshing and light.
In other words, all hail Kimye.
