Make sure to check out part 1 here. These were my five favorite collections from this year's London Fashion Week!

Whenever I think of London Fashion Week, House of Holland always comes to mind. Henry Holland's line has been one of my favorites each and every season - this one being no exception. House of Holland is always filled with fun pieces, bright colors and great designs. The bright color used this season are perfect for Spring and Summer, the retro influenced silhouettes and embellishments executed perfectly. Henry always has this way of taking two completely different patterns and incorporating them in a flattering way to both the eye and the body. His use of patterns and the designs on the dresses are so innovative and is just classic House of Holland.
4. Burberry Prorsum

Burberry Prorsum is also another collection I look forward to every year. After falling in love with their 2014 Fall/Winter collection, I was so excited for this one and was not disappointed. How they managed to pair runners, denim jackets and formal dresses together is something I will never understand - but it works! Burberry's constantly pushing the envelope with their designs and they always incorporate something into every collection that no one else has. This was one of the few lines this year to have denim in it which I believe is a Spring/Summer essential. The dresses are draped and tailored so perfectly - the color is pretty to the eye and the dresses are so flattering to the body. The line of bags featured in this collection were beautiful - pastel and technicolored bowling bags are back and I am ready.
3. Ashish

This collection stood out to me for some reason and I haven't been able to formulate a reason why. I think it might be the sparkles - as someone who isn't a fan of shimmery garments, everything about this line was just right. The casual style of the garments with the sparkly embellishments, patterns and designs all complimented each other so well. The backwards jeans, the style of the jean (literally) dress and yes, even a pair of jeans with the One Direction boys' faces on them added pop culture, quirk and took the line to a whole new level. This line was so different from anything else debuted - it had laid-back denim and big sequined pieces allowing it to stand under a different line than the collections that had over the top dresses. It was a very refreshing line to see towards the end of London Fashion Week and I want so many pieces in my closet ASAP. In the midst of all of the couture gowns and tailored suits, this collection of urban style was a great contrast.
2. Erdem

Good god, dress me in this collection and take me to the forest. At first glance, I didn't care for this collection, but then I really sat and looked at it and fell in love. The craftsmanship on each of these pieces is out of this world - the draping, the intricate lace work and the details on each piece are truly extraordinary (look at the three dresses in the middle row up close and fall in love). I love that the collection stuck with a simple, consistent color palette of dark jewel tones, black and white. It really allows for the each piece to be shown as a collection because they all compliment each other. Not only is each design on the looks beautifully thought out, but each garment looks so damn comfortable. I mean, is there anything better than looking elegant and being beautiful at the same time? Nope, didn't think so.
1. Marchesa

This was the first London Fashion Week collection I saw and I knew nothing was going to compare for it. I finished viewing the entire runway show and started to cry. Yes, I cried over this. The fusion of bohemian/gypsy and high end couture had me wondering if it was possible to get every single look in this collection. This is classic Marchesa - it's feminine and it showcases so many different textures, patterns and silhouettes - there is not a single look that is out of place. I find it very off putting when there is a collection that has such individually different looks, but this all works. My dream dress (third in second row) stole the entire show for me. The flowers are so delicately placed on the gown followed by the beautiful blue fabric - give me it now! This will hands down be one of my favorite collections from any of the fashion weeks this year and I might just be one of my favorite collections ever.
And we are on to Milan! I am moving back in to my university tomorrow so it might take me a day or two to update again!
Hope all is well.
Just love me:
